Welcome to Season Soul Jewelry! I am a mother of two young men, we have two dogs, and I am happily married to my freshman-year college boyfriend. As a former public school teacher and drama coach of 26 years, the arts have always been my comfort zone. Creating jewelry has been a personal escape for me since I was a teenager, and nature itself my greatest inspiration. Feelings and senses evoked by celebrating each beautiful season of life with those we love continue to inspire my original beaded jewelry designs. Using a bit of everything from vintage beads, wood, stone, crystal and metal, each material is hand selected from my travels across the United States and Europe, and every piece created is original and handcrafted by myself. I do not make pieces more than once. Designs are one and done, like you! I believe we all are art! Growing up and living in the Midwest, my studios are in Ada and Northern Michigan, where our seasons are bold, powerful, and ever changing. When I feel stagnate and unsure, nature brings me back to what is important. The strength of the river flowing reminds me to just release and go the with flow. A strong breeze engulfs, whispering that something mighty is at work. The bright sun embraces, energizes and soothes. Powerful, majestic stillness rests deep in the snow-covered wood, while the soft spring sprout of new life echoes eons of starting again, rejuvenation anew. Life is beautifully resilient and will preserver. From these moments where I am feeling connected, I design jewelry to celebrate each season and spread joy.
